The Supreme Court of India has decided that its expatriates working abroad cannot be returned at present, and has ruled that all petitions filed with it regarding the return of Indians stranded abroad due to the Coruna epidemic be postponed for a period of four weeks.

The court received seven requests to take a decision regarding the return of Indian nationals stranded in the Gulf states, the United States, Britain and Iran, but decided to suspend all petitions. The President of the Court, Sharad Avind Boubdi, said: “Everyone should abide by their places, and expatriates from other countries cannot be returned, attributing this to the closure Airspace and flight prevention in accordance with the decision of the Indian government.
