The Israeli intelligence agency, "Mossad," concluded that Iran no longer constituted an imminent security threat to Israel, due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, and indicated that the Mossad had begun to contribute effectively to Israel's fight against the epidemic.

The New York Times, in a report, quoted sources in the Mossad, that Iran does not pose any immediate and direct threat to Israel because of the outbreak of the virus, as Iran has turned its attention to combating the epidemic.

Despite the allegations contained in the report, the newspaper's Beirut office said that the Israeli Ministry of Defense is still focusing on Hezbollah's movements in both Lebanon and Syria.

The newspaper quoted well-informed sources as saying that the outbreak of the Corona epidemic in Israel pushed Mossad to confront it inside the country, by obtaining medical equipment and technology from abroad.

The report described the Mossad as "Israel's secret weapon in the war against the Corona virus," and - after deciding that Iran did not pose an immediate threat - has become one of the most important institutions on which Israel depends for medical equipment and manufacturing technology.
