Myanmar postpones air traffic restrictions until the end of April

The Myanmar government issued a circular on April 12 to extend the suspension of all commercial passenger flights until the end of midnight on April 30. The air navigation order was issued on March 29 and was originally scheduled to end at midnight on April 13. However, according to the statistics of the Ministry of Health of Myanmar, as of the evening of April 10, Myanmar has found 28 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 16 imported cases and 9 cases in close contact with imported cases. In order to avoid the entry of more imported cases, the air traffic restrictions were extended to the end of April with the approval of the Central Committee for the Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus in Myanmar.
