Abdel Raouf Zaqout - Gaza

It is the fourth day of stone in the Sakina Bint Al Hussein School in the city of Deir Al Balah in the central Gaza Strip. Everyone here is afraid and anxious, but in light of this tension, Mahmoud Hammouda was preparing a hidden secret to surprise his wife at the end of her birthday, trying to create a smile on the tired faces.

The young man agreed with the security personnel to transfer to him the birthday cake candy which was prepared by a relative of him and sent to the school, but they were not satisfied with that but rather decorated and equipped on a personal initiative from them, and within minutes the photos of Christmas Day and the joy of the detainees were spread on the communication sites, but what caught the attention greatly is Corona Cake.

On the idea, Mahmoud (28 years) says that he and his wife Khatam were coming from a long travel trip from the Arab Republic of Egypt, then they were surprised by their stone for a period of 14 days, renewable in one of the schools, so think about something that could change the sad atmosphere inside the school.

As for the idea of a candy bar, it was made by young woman Mona Riad, who drew a picture of a girl putting a muzzle on her face, to match the situation inside the stone, and to draw attention to the importance of preventing the epidemic that swept most of the world.

On the celebration, the husband tells Al-Jazeera Net, saying, "It was a beautiful day in which the police participated, and coincided with the visit of the governor and the director of police who shared with us our joy, and I was able to bring joy to the heart of my wife and the happiness of those around us who were blocked."

Stone
The Ministry of the Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip has transported returning travelers from outside the Strip to a number of schools for fear of an outbreak of the Corona virus within the community, coinciding with the start of the preparation for building a thousand stone rooms in two locations in the north and south of the sector.

The idea of a candy bar kept the work of nearly twenty people

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the end of the quarantine of 1018 hosts in the quarantine centers, including 233 medical teams, security men, support services and hygiene, after completing all checks to check on their safety.

The idea is evolving
The “Qasr Al-Nada” confectionery factory snapped up the idea of the Corona Virus candy mold, especially with the increasing demand of customers for it, which encouraged the factory to produce large quantities, which it managed to market in a short time.

The factory director, Hassan Abu Zarqa, assured Al Jazeera Net that the idea of raising awareness through candy bars and simple ideas close to the citizens is more effective and widespread, especially among children and young people who follow social media sites significantly.

The idea of a candy bar not only succeeded in raising awareness, but also managed to keep the work of about twenty employees inside the factory, helped them increase production and demand to remain in their business, unlike many businesses, companies and factories that abandoned a large number of their employees and workers due to the crisis.

"Corona cake" has become a registered trademark of events in the Gaza Strip, and has expanded and expanded to become Arab and international later, at a time when the rate of infection and the spread of the new Corona virus in the countries of the world is increasing.

The factory and many business owners in Gaza are trying to devise new ideas that can be marketed to the local market, commensurate with the difficult conditions in which the community lives, so that they can maintain their business and help spread such ideas at the same time.

Thoughts
On the latest ideas of the factory, Abu Zarqa said, "We made many candy bars that contain awareness ideas, and the last thing we did was the template of all countries where the virus has spread, and we hope that a remedy will be found for it to return to normalcy."

And affected by the Corona epidemic crisis, many areas in the Gaza Strip, the most important of which are the tourism and transportation sector, where they witnessed complete disruption without a clear plan to compensate those affected so far, due to the economic crisis that the besieged sector has been living in for 14 years.

And the Israeli occupation authorities imposed a comprehensive closure on all windows of life in Gaza since 2007, punctuated by three fierce wars, during which thousands of Palestinians were killed, and the infrastructure was completely destroyed.
