While the French have been confined for a month, there is no question of giving up the traditional Easter egg hunt even when you have to look in an apartment. For Anna, 7, who lives with her family in the city center of Lille, hunting does not look less funny anyway.

REPORTAGE

Despite the confinement, the bells passed and millions of children went hunting for chocolate eggs this Sunday morning. A tradition that was impossible to give up for many parents even when this hunt must be done in the apartment, as in Lille in the north.

Little Anna, who is almost seven years old, already has an idea of where the chocolate eggs and rabbits could be hidden in the four-room duplex in the city center where the little family lives. "We will find many, many eggs. Maybe on the sofa, or under the table, in the bathtub ... We will eat them all," she laughs.

"I hope the fun will be the same"

Usually, it is in family with her grandparents in Touraine that the little girl engages in this activity. "The other years, with granny, grandpa, uncle, Adèle my cousin. We look in the garden, everywhere, everywhere, everywhere ...", she says, at the microphone of Europe 1. And when we ask her why, this year, hunting in fact indoors, Anna has the answer: "Because we are confined to the house in Lille!".

For Dad, William, staying in the apartment is not a problem either. "whether it is outside or inside, it is above all the magic of Easter that will surprise him and bring him a little smile", he explains, before adding: "Whether behind a flower pot, sofa or tree .... I hope the fun will be the same. " A videoconference call is still planned so that Grandma and Grandpa can see their little girl at work.
