Japanese lawmakers who visited Yasukuni Shrine, where Japanese war criminals joined, every spring, decided not to visit this year because of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

According to the Kyodo News Agency, the National Assembly of the Senate faction, `` The National Assembly Meeting to Visit Yasukuni Shrine Together '' (hereafter called the National Assembly Meeting), decided to cancel the Yasukuni Visit to the 21st and 22nd Spring Festival.

Officials from the National Assembly gathered to spread Corona 19 against the background of cancellation of worship.

The Spring Ceremony is a ceremony held in the spring, and it is considered to be an important event of the Yasukuni Shrine along with the Autumn Ceremony.

Currently, the person leading the ‘Meeting for the Yasukuni Shrine together’ is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of the Liberal Democratic Party, Hidehisa Otsuji, who served as the vice-chairman of the House of Representatives.

Since its inception in 1981, the group has been worshiping Yasukuni Shrine as a group at the two events of spring and autumn each year and on the anniversary of the end of the Pacific War in August.

The Kyodo news agency said the decision to cancel the cancellation was an unusual response, saying that the National Assembly of the National Assembly had postponed the worship service during the 2017 Autumn Preparatory Festival in December, when the elections overlapped with the House of Representatives election.

Last year, 70 members of the National Assembly gathered during the spring festival, and 98 members of the assembly attended during the fall festival in October, and 165 people, including assistants, attended.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the spring and autumn ecumenical festival every year by sending a tribute without direct worship after visiting Seoul in December 2013 and buying a strong backlash from Korea and China.
