Social media in Egypt witnessed a state of anger, after the people of two villages in Dakahlia Governorate tried to prevent the burial of a doctor who died from the Corona virus, fearing infection.
The police were forced to launch tear gas at noon today, Saturday, at dozens of people from the village of Shubra El-Bahou, which is affiliated with the Aga Center, so that the Ministry of Health could bury the doctor.

A security source said that a 65-year-old unoccupied doctor died from infection with the virus, who was transferred to her from her daughter returning from Scotland, and the body was taken for burial in a cemetery owned by her husband in the village of Shubra El-Bho, his hometown, in Dakahlia Governorate, about 130 kilometers north of Cairo.
The source added that the people of this village gathered and refused to bury the body, which was transported in a sterile ambulance.
According to the same source, the ambulance moved to the neighboring village of Mait al-Amel, the birthplace of the deceased woman, but the people gathered and refused to bury her in the tombs of her family for fear of infection.
The ambulance returned to the village of Shubra El-Bahou, where the police fired tear gas to disperse the gathering residents, and the ambulance team was able to bury the body, according to the security source.
To date, 135 people have died in Egypt as a result of the emerging coronavirus, while the number of infections has reached 1794 cases.
Days before this incident, a female doctor dealing with cases of coronavirus was "bullied" by her neighbors.
Dina Magdy, a resident of Ismailia (east of Cairo), released this video on April 7, in which she said, "Her neighbors tried to drive her out of the building."
