In Söderköping, care and the care side have received the hand spirit that exists in the municipality, so now there is a need for alcohol for the other operations. Chemistry teacher Peter Lindström at Nyströmska high school has been involved in mixing his own. He has been in contact with a number of authorities and organizations to make sure it works properly:
- It is rules that are being investigated, but what we are doing now is not illegal what we have understood.
He follows WHO's prescriptions, but since he neither got isoprpopanol nor ethanol, he uses T-Red instead, along with glycerol and a splash of hydrogen peroxide.
"It is good that we can work together in the municipality and help each other," says Cecilia Karlsson, head of unit health for Söderköping.
She says that you start by making 50 liters, but that you can do more in the future if needed
