According to the investigation, on February 18, 2018, Yuri Izotov, together with Mikhail Agafonov, also a Russian citizen, and other persons took part in an anti-Russian action during which they attacked the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kiev, threw stones and other objects at the front of the diplomatic building institutions smashed the windows.

It was previously reported that the investigation established another Ukrainian citizen involved in the attack on the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kiev in 2018. It turned out to be 30-year-old Bogdan Titskaya.

On February 18, 2018 in Kiev, radically-minded individuals attacked the institution, after which they defiantly burned the Russian flag on Independence Square.
