Last weekend in the United States in Louisville, an attending physician violently attacked adolescent girls who were not confined to their homes, themselves not respecting the safety distances. After several days, he was finally identified by the local police who charged him last Tuesday with strangulation and harassment.

Captured by a phone, the violent assault toured social networks, provoking a number of indignant reactions. On that day, nine teenage girls challenged the recommendations of social distancing to fight the Covid-19 by finding themselves near a lake at dusk when a couple approached them by insulting them.

🤬🤬🤬 What's this man's name?

I need it.

This happened this weekend in Louisville.

He assaulted this young Black girl.

But local news outlets won't say his name. The police arrested him for strangulation, but even they won't say his name or release the mugshot. pic.twitter.com/4uT8YGCddr

"We are leaving, please there is no need for insults" launches the teen who films the scene to the doctor who then passes in front of her. The man, John Rademaker, accompanied by a woman who is also filming on his side, murmurs another insult before violently pushing two young girls to his right. He then jumps on one of the teenage girls, however lying on the ground, grabbing her neck while the woman who accompanies her seems to be supporting her legs.

Several other serious cases

According to a local newspaper, the teenager attacked by the doctor dropped the phone of the woman present, who then tried to recover it. "Give me back my phone" we hear him say in the video, without knowing if the girl really has the phone or if she just shoved it.

The arrest warrant is clear: the doctor effectively strangled the 18-year-old teenager, whose neck has injuries. Several media and Internet users denounced the racist character of the attack, the victim being the only black person present on the scene.

Because of the scale of the attack, his cabinet had to react. A representative announced that the doctor would be placed on administrative leave while an investigation was conducted.

Several incidents of quarantine shaming , criticizing or humiliating people who do not respect containment measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus have taken place across the country as recalled by the Washington Post . The most serious incident so far reported is the death of an 86-year-old woman during a confrontation at a Brooklyn hospital last month: a patient pushed and knocked her to the ground as she stood too close to him. He has since been charged with manslaughter.
