“On instructions from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces Vladimir Putin, Minister of Defense Army General Sergei Shoigu gave instructions on the prompt delivery of assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection,” RIA Novosti reports.

Assistance is provided in accordance with the appeal of the leadership of the Republika Srpska, specified there.

Earlier it became known that Russian doctors examined more than 170 patients in hospitals in Serbia.

On March 26, Serbia asked Russia to help in the fight against COVID-19. On April 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the creation of an aviation group to deliver assistance to Serbia.
