That Åsa Waldau now withdraws her appeal was something that UNT was the first to tell.

Waldau was sentenced by Uppsala District Court in March to conditional sentence with 120 hours of community service. She was convicted of eight cases of mistreatment against former parishioners, but was also acquitted on six charges.

On the other hand, that Åsa Waldau withdrew its appeal does not stop a continuance in the court of law. Former Pastor Peter Gembäck has appealed his sentence. Gembäck reported himself and his pastor colleagues for several years behind violence and threats with members of the congregation.
