08 April 2020The curtain falls on the 2019/2020 season of volleyball without the assignment of titles, relegations and promotions. The Italian Volleyball Federation (Fipav), after careful and in-depth reflection on the persistent emergency situation linked to the coronavirus pandemic, which is affecting the Italian territory and states around the world, has in fact decreed the final conclusion of all volleyball championships of each series and category.Fipav therefore considers all the national, regional and territorial championships concluded without assigning the badges, promotions and retrocessions.
Furthermore, all sporting activities linked to the Sitting Volley discipline were declared concluded.
Volleyball follows the decision taken by rugby, the Serie A basketball and handball.
