Norrköping District Court now condemns the three principals for the cheating business to prison for three years and and six months, two years and six months, respectively two years. The men must also pay millions to the state. At the same time, the district court decides the sanction for 24 test writers who used the cheating for conditional judgment and a fine. The 57-year-old man is convicted of having helped in the business receiving a conditional sentence.

The judge was considered damned

It was in January last year that four men were sentenced to prison sentences in the university probation. The three main defendants, the 26 and 23-year-old brothers from Norrköping and a 21-year-old from Lund were sentenced to prison for between 3.5 and 6 years. The brothers' father was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison. They were convicted of, among other things, gross accounting violations, tax violations and aiding in false declaration.

But during the summer of last year, the Göte Court of Appeal found that the judge in the case was jumbled, after making statements about the case at a law club meeting - and the whole case was re-assigned.

With the help of wireless earphones, which are so small that they have to be picked out with magnet, the cheaters were able to receive the test answers during ongoing college exams. The earpiece was wirelessly connected to a phone that was hidden on the body, and those who organized the cheat provided the correct answers after a test manager or proofreader photographed the questions.
