The Department of Administrative Affairs at Dubai Customs has taken a new precautionary measure, within the measures it takes to confront the risks of the spread of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), and to support the efforts of the state to combat this virus, represented in the implementation of the safe customs inspector corridor, which aims to protect the customs inspection staff , And sterilization, before starting their fieldwork.

The safe passage is consistent with the decisions of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the health authorities in the country.

The corridor was implemented in the form of a mobile cabin, containing a number of major devices, and includes a smart talking thermometer, informing the person's temperature immediately, and a sink that works by pumps by pressing the foot to get water without the need to touch it by hand, in addition to the comprehensive sterilization of the inspector through spraying devices Safe, along with basic safety equipment such as gloves, protective masks and full body protective clothing.

The director of the Administrative Affairs Department, Eng. Khawla Ibrahim Al-Salis, confirmed that the safe customs inspector pass was implemented in the Jebel Ali Customs Center as a preliminary stage, before circulating it to the customs centers in successive stages later.

She said that the department implemented a set of preventive and precautionary measures for inspectors in customs centers before performing their work, as the department sterilizes trucks passing through the Hatta border customs center before the customs inspection, in order to ensure the safety of the inspection officers and workers at the center.
