(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) Joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council: Those who find asymptomatic infections should report directly to the Internet within 2 hours

China News Service, Beijing, April 8 According to the news released by the Chinese government website on the evening of the 8th, the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council recently issued the "New Crown Virus Asymptomatic Infected Persons Management Regulations", which stipulates that various types of medical and health institutions find asymptomatic infections Those who report should report directly to the Internet within 2 hours.

According to the Code, asymptomatic people are infectious and have a risk of transmission.

The Code proposes to strengthen the monitoring and discovery of asymptomatic infections: first, active detection during close medical observation of new coronary pneumonia cases; second, active detection in cluster epidemic investigations; and third, in new coronary pneumonia cases The active detection of the exposed population in the process of tracing the source of infection; the fourth is the active detection of persons with history of residence in areas where there is a continuous spread of new coronary pneumonia cases at home and abroad; the fifth is the relevant personnel found in epidemiological investigation and opportunistic screening .

The Code requires the reporting of asymptomatic infected persons. Medical and health institutions at all levels and all types of asymptomatic infections should report directly to the Internet within 2 hours. The county-level disease control agency completes the case investigation within 24 hours after receiving the report of asymptomatic infection, and promptly registers close contacts, and reports the case questionnaire or investigation report through the infectious disease report information management system in a timely manner.

The Code requires strengthening management of people with asymptomatic infections. Those who have concentrated medical observation for 14 days and have two consecutive samples with negative nucleic acid tests (sampling time at least 24 hours apart) can be released from concentrated medical observation. Those who still have positive nucleic acid tests and no clinical symptoms need to continue concentrated medical observation.

The "Code" requires targeted and increased screening efforts to expand the detection scope to close contacts of cases and asymptomatic patients. Do a good job of intensive monitoring of key areas, key populations, and key sites. Once an asymptomatic infection is found, medical observation should be concentrated and isolated.

The Norm points out that asymptomatic infected persons have the characteristics of concealment of transmission, subjectivity of symptoms, and limitations of discovery. The state supports scientific research on the infectivity, spread, and epidemiology of asymptomatic infected persons. Strengthen information communication, exchange and cooperation with the World Health Organization and other relevant countries and international organizations, and timely adjust the diagnosis and treatment plan and prevention and control plan.
