China News Hohhot, April 8 (Reporter Zhang Wei) On the 8th, the Inner Mongolia New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters released news that Inner Mongolia added five new cases of newly diagnosed new coronary pneumonia in Russia from Manchuria to Houbaigarsk Passenger transport corridors at highway ports were temporarily closed.

From 7:00 on April 6 to 7:00 on April 8, Inner Mongolia reported 6 new confirmed cases of imported new coronary pneumonia and 3 new suspected cases of imported new coronary pneumonia. Five of the confirmed cases were from Moscow, Russia.

As of 7:00 on April 8, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has cumulatively reported 49 confirmed cases of imported new coronary pneumonia and 35 suspected cases.

The Inner Mongolia Health and Welfare Committee official stated that the diagnosed and suspected patients were all treated in isolation in designated hospitals. All close contacts were concentrated in isolated medical observations at designated locations and closed-loop management was implemented throughout the entire process.
