Containment did not necessarily dampen the initiatives of reckless motorists. Unfortunately for them, the gendarmes and police officers have not abandoned surveillance of the roads. Monday, a 27-year-old driver was thus checked at 138 km / h on a departmental road (limited to 80 km / h) in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, announces the gendarmerie of Loire-Atlantique.
The young man was carrying three people and said he was going home after going shopping. He did have a travel certificate, but it was not duly completed. His passengers had none. All left with a fine of 135 euros. The driver has also had his driver's license withdrawn.
Full on the periphery
Tuesday afternoon, a motorist traveling at 150 km / h was intercepted by the police on the Nantes ring road. After correction, its speed was reduced to 142 km / h, which is still a speeding of more than 50 km / h. No less than 33 speeding tickets were reported in three hours by the police on the device. The latter is limited to 90km / h and even 70 km / h to certain sectors.
