- Everything has gone according to plan, the applications have been able to be submitted without interruption from the start. There has been a lot of pressure on the support periodically, but we work hard to get everyone the help they need, says Tim Brooks, head of the Corporate department at Tillväxtverket.

On March 16, the Government gave the Swedish Growth Agency the task of managing the support for short-term work. Since then, extensive information material has been produced on the website, a new digital application service has been built and a new organization with administrators has been formed.

- I am very proud that in such a short time we have been able to build a system and set up an organization, says Tim Brooks.

Support for short-term work was part of the crisis package launched by the government on March 16. Short-term work (formerly known as short-term leave) means that employers can reduce employees' working hours and receive support from the state to cover large parts of the cost.
