A 21-year-old man, already convicted of acts of another kind, was sentenced to two months in prison by the Béziers criminal court.

Verbalized four times by the police from the Béziers police station since March 28, he was placed in police custody. Each time, he had not been able to justify his presence outside his home, despite the compulsory containment measures decreed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

“Plead guilty” procedure

Presented in court with prior admission of guilt (“plead guilty”), he accepted, in the presence of his lawyer, the sentence of 2 months' imprisonment offered to him, without warrant. The sentence was approved the same day by a judge.
