The Dalarna region and several of the county's municipalities now offer help to entrepreneurs in the county because of the crisis that many companies are experiencing right now.

The region offers funding for external advice linked to the crisis to companies with up to 49 employees. The support covers a maximum of SEK 80,000 per company.

- We know that many small companies have or will have problems, mainly with liquidity, but of course also with the result on the last line with Covid-19. We also know that it is tough to be a business leader in these situations. The goal of this effort is to mitigate the negative effects on companies as well as the entrepreneur both during and after this crisis situation, says Anders Björkman, Head of Unit Business Development at Region Dalarna.

Free and past outdoor dining

Several of the county's municipalities offer similar solutions as the region with advice to entrepreneurs and many of the municipalities also offer companies to apply for postponement with invoices and fees from the municipality and suppliers also have the opportunity to adjust payment dates for faster payment.

Several municipalities have also scheduled the outdoor dining season. Among other Säter, Vansbro, Leksand, and Falun. Nor does Falu municipality charge a fee for the land lease for outdoor dining this season.

Handing out Christmas presents to employees already

In Orsa municipality it has been decided that Santa will be very early this year with Christmas presents for the staff. There, municipal employees are now given a gift card of SEK 200 to use at local companies to encourage the support of the local business community and the entrepreneurs who are doing so right now.

Leksand and Älvdalen have offered companies that deal with food can receive advice on the spread of contamination by the municipality's food inspectors.

Parking fees removed

In Mora municipality, parking fees have also been temporarily removed from the municipality's parking in central Mora.
