“A criminal case regarding the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements and resulted in the death of three persons as a result of gas popping in a residential building (part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia) was transferred to the first department for the investigation of especially important cases of the GSU SK of Russia for further investigation Moscow region, ”the report said.
It is noted that the residents of the house and eyewitnesses to the incident were questioned.
“The investigation is considering several versions of what happened, the main of which is - careless handling of household gas,” the department added.
Earlier it was reported that families of those killed in a gas explosion in a house in Orekhovo-Zuev will receive payments in the amount of 1 million rubles. 500 thousand will be paid to the victims.
