As he noted in a video message to employees of the Russian nuclear industry, preparations for the launch are at the final stage.

“The work of power unit No. 1 is in the hottest, final stage,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to him, on March 31 there was an acceptance of engineering and technical means of physical protection of the unit. Now he is ready to deliver fuel.

“On April 5, the power unit was taken under protection by the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus,” Likhachev added.
