The United States, which has surpassed 10,000 deaths from the new coronavirus since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, has recorded an additional 1,150 deaths in 24 hours, according to a count Monday evening at Johns Hopkins University. New York confined until April 29
The United States is by far the country with the most officially reported cases of Covid-19 by far, and is preparing to "experience the peak of this terrible pandemic," President Donald Trump warned. The number of deaths caused by the disease in the country has been increasing for several days by more than 1,000 deaths daily, thus gradually approaching the record deplored in Italy (16,523 dead) and Spain (13,005).
