New York confined until April 29

The United States is by far the country with the most officially reported cases of Covid-19 by far, and is preparing to "experience the peak of this terrible pandemic," President Donald Trump warned. The number of deaths caused by the disease in the country has been increasing for several days by more than 1,000 deaths daily, thus gradually approaching the record deplored in Italy (16,523 dead) and Spain (13,005).

Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York State, the US epicenter of the epidemic, extended the containment measures until April 29, saying that it was not yet "the time to relax." Europe 1 had also been able to collect the testimony of a doctor on the front line in a hospital in the New York region.

A real-time map to see the evolution of the coronavirus

Developed by researchers at the Johns-Hopkins University in the United States, a map lists all of the confirmed cases of Covid-19 around the world, as well as those suspected, in real time. But it is also accompanied by several counters which provide information on the number of victims ... and people healed.
