The number of coronavirus victims in Ukraine increased to 39

“A 72-year-old man from the village of Godylov was treated at home for a week before getting to a medical facility,” a Facebook statement said.

There are 248 cases of coronavirus infection in the region.

On the morning of April 6, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported 38 deaths from coronavirus.

In total, 1319 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country.

Earlier, Kiev authorities banned being on the street without medical masks due to the risk of coronavirus infection.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that the country may extend quarantine in connection with COVID-19 until the end of May.
