Last year, Storvreta made a negative result, which meant that it was denied an elite license. According to the regulations, the club must therefore show a positive equity on 30 April. Otherwise they are threatened by relocation season 2020/21.

- We did a great year last year but decided to take all the old leaven and clean up old debts, which made us a total negative, says Henrik Ededahl, chairman of the club.

The club was quarterfinals clear and would face Linköping in the playoffs. Then it was canceled as a result of the corona pandemic, which means that the club, according to their own estimate, lost about 1.2 million. If Linköping had been knocked out, it would have been even more, Ededahl says.

- If the season had ended as intended, there would have been no weirdness whatsoever, says the club chairman.

It is now hoped that part of the support billion announced by the government will go to cultural and sports Sweden.
