For decades, the Munkfors company Harry Holms has manufactured stainless products primarily for the healthcare industry and currently has around 350 different products currently in production. At special events such as influenza epidemics and now the corona virus, orders increase significantly.

Now there has been a great demand for, among other things, wall holders for hand-held bottles and soap bottles. The staff of 40 people has been increased by ten people and they are now working in two shifts to handle all orders.

Exports to Europe

More than half of the company's production goes on exports and the pressure is currently great from both Sweden and the Nordic countries as well as from the rest of Europe.

Harry Holms management is used to keeping production flexibility up and down. The sudden order pressure is positive for securing employment, but it is also important to obtain a new competent workforce and it has succeeded so far.
