It was at seven o'clock on Sunday morning that the emergency services were alerted to a fire in a residence and a barn building. A total of 16 units were in place.

The building burned to the ground.

- But we have managed to save some valuable possessions from the ground floor in the dwelling house, says Mats Rydberg, internal commander of the rescue service to SVT News Halland.

"Does not take action"

On Monday, police spokeswoman Anna Göransson announces that no crime is suspected to be behind the fire.

- We have been on the scene, but after information obtained from the rescue service, we do not take any action on the part of the police, she says.

The police thus regard the case as closed.
