Outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and leader of the "Blue and White" coalition, Benny Gantz, agreed to impose sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank in July.

This comes within the framework of the expected agreement to form a government coalition between them, according to what was reported by the official "Kan" channel, Channel 13 and a number of Hebrew newspapers, including Yedioth Ahronoth and Maariv.

Israeli media reported that after disagreements between the Likud (led by Netanyahu) and Azraq Abyad on the issue of imposing sovereignty over West Bank settlements, the two sides apparently reached understandings.

According to the crystallized agreement to form a government coalition, Netanyahu can obtain government approval on the issue of imposing sovereignty in early July.

Within hours, it is expected that the agreement to form a unity government will be signed by Gantz and Netanyahu to rotate for a period of 18 months, with the latter beginning the task first.

According to the agreement, Gantz will be Netanyahu's deputy during the latter's term, and the roles will change during the second 18 months.

According to the agreement, Netanyahu will have to consult with his deputy, Gantz, on imposing sovereignty, in addition to obtaining US support for the decision, no more than that.
