The number of corona19 confirmed patients in Japan exceeded 4,500.

Except for the confirmed cruise ships, more than 3,800 people were infected. In particular, the capital city of Tokyo was found to have infected 143 people yesterday, and the cumulative number of patients exceeded 1,000.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government plans to start accepting patients with mild illness by moving to accommodations such as hotels starting tomorrow.

Among these, Prime Minister Abe hosts the Corona 19 Advisory Conference today and listens to comments regarding the declaration of the emergency.

Japanese media say the recent rapid spread seems to have strengthened Abe's intention to declare an emergency.

It seems likely that the emergency will be declared as early as today, tomorrow, and in metropolitan areas such as Tokyo.

This is because the medical infrastructure is well maintained compared to the provinces, but the number of confirmed patients is difficult to trace the path of infection.

When an emergency is declared, the municipality can freely use the land required to install a medical facility.

In addition, the head of a local government may request or instruct the use of multiple facilities.

However, the Japanese government explains that even if an emergency is declared, the so-called 'city blockade' such as measures to ban forced outings is practically impossible.
