The Turkish Interior Ministry mobilized its local officials in all states, to provide food and water for animals in the streets, due to the absence of people in the fields, in light of the social isolation imposed to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
The Ministry of Interior sent a new circular to 81 states, requesting state, district and local administration officials to take measures to prevent animals that live in the streets, such as dogs, cats and birds, from being left without food and water, while sterilizing the places where they live.
The Ministry of the Interior indicated that the virus not only negatively affected the lives of people, but even animals, as it finds it difficult to find food and water.
