The Corona virus has postponed the series premiere in all elite football series in Sweden. Sirius has already confirmed that layoffs will be implemented. This means that the players go down in working hours while the state enters and provides financial support.

- The hard thing right now is the liquidity. We need to pay fixed expenses while leaving no ticket and sales revenue, says Ove Sjöblom, chairman of Sirius.

The debut season has to wait

Uppsala Fotboll, which would have played a historic first match in damall Swedes, also has to wait for its premiere. They are looking at the possibility of taking layoffs.

- As the season has moved on, shorter working hours and support from the state are needed, says Linda Zillén, chairman of Uppsala Fotboll.

Dalkurd moves in

Dalkurd has moved in to the Students and is preparing for his first season with the Students in Uppsala as his home schedule. They also look at the possibility of layoffs, reports UNT.
