The International Football Federation (Fifa) will ask football clubs and players to find pay agreements to deal with the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to AFP, the Swiss-based body recommended extending the players' contracts to end the season.

In a set of guidelines established in agreement with the confederations, Fifa, which will be "flexible", also recommends postponing the opening of the transfer market until the current season is not over.

On April 3, a Fifa task force recommended that all international meetings scheduled for June be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic that halted most football championships around the world.
