"From the current point of view, this work is generally stable and orderly. After nearly three weeks of practice and exploration at various entry points and airports, the various work processes and response plans have been gradually improved." Han Guangzu said.

Han Guangzu said that since the implementation of the policy on March 29, as of April 5, there have been 112 inbound international passenger flights, including 88 domestic airlines, 24 foreign airlines, and about 21,000 inbound passengers in 8 days. The number of people entering through air ports has been reduced from about 25,000 people per day to less than 3,000 people before the implementation of the policy, effectively preventing the imported risks of the epidemic.

In addition, Han Guangzu also stated that the Civil Aviation Administration of China has launched a major air transportation guarantee mechanism in a timely manner and arranged temporary flights to assist overseas citizens to return to their homes in cities where demand is high and flight destinations are capable of receiving support.

Han Guangzu said that from March 4 to April 3, civil aviation has arranged 11 temporary flights to assist 1,827 Chinese citizens in Iran, Italy, and the United Kingdom to return home. Among them, 6 flights were carried out on Iranian temporary flights and 976 Chinese citizens were returned; 4 flights were carried out on Italian temporary flights and 670 Chinese citizens were returned; 1 flight was carried out on British temporary flights and 181 Chinese citizens were returned.
