She explained that the goal of working or studying remotely is to promote the idea of ​​staying at home as a precaution to ensure the safety of community members, while using phones and computers while driving vehicles is a clear violation of traffic laws and regulations as well as distracting the driver’s mind that leads to the vehicle’s deviation or bypassing the red light And causing tragic traffic accidents.

Abu Dhabi Police called on the users of phones and computers for the purpose of working remotely or studying not to use phones and mobile devices while driving the vehicle on the road or photographing it for the purpose of showing off and appearing on social media.

She stressed that there will be no complacency in the application of the law for drivers to work outside the road while driving and classified as dangerous violations, and the application of item (32) regarding traffic control rules and procedures No. (178) for the year 2017: “A” busy from the road while driving a vehicle using The phone, "B", is busy from the road while driving the vehicle in any way; violating it is a fine of 800 dirhams and four traffic points.
