It was the parents who raised the alarm, worried about their baby's health. The firefighters intervened on Sunday just before 8 p.m. in an apartment located rue Pierre-Loti in the Maurepas district of Rennes. In one place, they looked after a family of seven people, two adults and five children, victims of carbon monoxide poisoning.

All family members were hospitalized. The youngest child, a nine-month-old baby, is in a state of absolute emergency. It is a defective heating which would be at the origin of this poisoning with carbon monoxide.
