US President Donald Trump said during a White House press conference that he tends to exempt churches from social divergence to celebrate Easter.

"Maybe we will exempt churches from social estrangement and allow them to celebrate Easter," Trump said, and like other Americans, he will see the Easter celebration on his personal computer.

Trump posted a tweet in which he mentioned more details, saying he will watch the ceremony held by pastor Greg Lowry from Harvest Church in California. Lowry is known to be an enthusiastic supporter of President Trump.

Then Trump expressed sorrow that the social divergence to combat the outbreak affects the holy week for American Christians.

The annual Easter party was canceled at the White House.

During the press conference in which Trump tried to prepare Americans to be prepared to accept a harsh week as a result of coronavirus deaths, he said that staying orders are in place in almost every state, and the federal government applies social divergence guidelines.

"Unfortunately, there will be a large number of deaths this week, but of course far fewer than the number that would have occurred had it not been for the measures that are in place," Trump added.

Trump wanted to start reopening closed US businesses by Easter, but he changed his mind when he said that the Federal Social Divergence Guidelines would remain the same until the end of April.
