The library in Lekeberg is like so many others about its business right now because of the corona virus. The book loans are extended, the delay fee is temporarily removed and so you are informed about the possibility of borrowing audio and e-books from home.

- Then we ensure for the visitors who come here that there are not too many here at the same time and we have put up signs. Because we want to help and curb the spread of infection, says Maria Gille, cultural and leisure manager in Lekeberg Municipality.

Library staff selects

But for those who do not want to move at all in the premises, but need to read, help is offered to pick up physical books.

- You can do this by calling or emailing us and then ordering the ones you want, or we choose some books. We have a special alarm clock outside the entrance that you can call and then we put a bag that you can pick up, says Maria Gille.

SVT has tried the service "librarian staff chooses" over the telephone. Librarian Elin Nilvér reveals the contents of the "bookcase" from the bible in Fjugesta in the video.
