According to the Guangzhou Health and Welfare Committee website, from 0:00 to 24:00 on April 4, 2020, Guangzhou City reported 5 newly diagnosed cases, including 2 cases imported overseas (1 case in the United States, Canada 1 case), 3 cases of imported related cases abroad. 8 new cases were discharged (including 5 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24 April 4th, Guangzhou City has reported a total of 104 imported cases, including 26 cases in the United Kingdom, 17 cases in the United States, 13 cases in the Philippines, 9 cases in Nigeria, 6 cases in Pakistan, 5 cases in France, 3 cases in the UAE, Buki 3 cases in Nafaso, 3 cases in Angola, 3 cases in Malaysia, 2 cases in Thailand, 2 cases in Spain, 2 cases in Congo, 2 cases in Ireland, 1 case in Turkey, 1 case in Chile, 1 case in Ethiopia, 1 case in Togo, One case in Russia, one case in Singapore, one case in Madagascar and one case in Canada. A total of 456 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were reported in Guangzhou, and a total of 380 cases were discharged (including 38 cases imported from abroad), and 1 case died. There are 0 suspected cases. A total of 6,838 close contacts were tracked and verified, and 1,153 are still under medical observation.

On April 1, the patient arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on the 3rd by taking flight CZ328 from Los Angeles, USA, and was transferred to the centralized isolation point.

On April 4, a diagnosis of new coronary pneumonia was confirmed.

Cases related to overseas import 1: Female, 52 years old, Guangdong, China, Guangzhou residence, Minquan Street, Yuexiu District, is a close contact with a confirmed case of import of a foreign national in recent days.

On April 3, the sampling test result was positive for New Coronavirus nucleic acid.

On April 4, a diagnosis of new coronary pneumonia was confirmed.

Overseas import-related case 2: female, 27 years old, Guangdong, China, Guangzhou living in Chaoyang Street, Yuexiu District, is a close contact person who has recently entered a confirmed case with an exception.

On April 3, the sampling test result was positive for New Coronavirus nucleic acid.

On April 4, a diagnosis of new coronary pneumonia was confirmed.

Cases related to overseas import 3: Male, 46 years old, Nigerian, living in Baiyun Lake Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, is a close contact with a recent confirmed case imported from Nigeria.

On April 3, the sampling test result was positive for New Coronavirus nucleic acid.

On April 4, a diagnosis of new coronary pneumonia was confirmed.

The above-mentioned 5 newly confirmed cases, 2 of which were imported from abroad, and 3 cases were found by close contact, which were all transferred to the Eighth People's Hospital of Guangzhou for isolation treatment. The close contacts of the above cases have been subjected to centralized isolation medical observations in accordance with the regulations, the relevant activities of the cases have been terminally disinfected, and the environmental sample tests are negative.
