The 12 inspection teams will conduct special inspections in the coal resources field in 7 state-owned enterprises including Ordos City and 4 state-owned enterprises including Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Natural Resources Department and Inner Mongolia Energy Power Investment Group Co., Ltd.

On February 28, Shi Taifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said that he would conduct a comprehensive "consultation" of the development and utilization of coal resources in Inner Mongolia since 2000.

The coal problem in Inner Mongolia ’s “consultation” originated from the violation of laws and regulations in the coal resource field exposed by corruption cases such as Yunguang Zhong, Bai Xiangqun, Xing Yun, and Yunmin.

In the past month, three legal advisers, corporate executives, and officials related to coal corruption have been investigated by the Commission for Discipline Inspection.

According to official sources, the 12 inspection teams will focus on discovering and promoting the resolution of some outstanding problems in the reform of coal resources and state-owned enterprises, and further promote the sustainable and healthy development of the coal industry in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

According to reports, Inner Mongolia will also conduct regular inspections of 15 state-owned enterprise party committees including Inner Mongolia Electric Power (Group) Co., Ltd.

The on-site inspection time of the inspection team of the Inner Mongolian Party Committee is about 2 months. During the inspection, a special duty phone, post office box, e-mail box, etc. will be set up.
