Amid the lack of medical supplies such as masks around the world due to the Corona 19 incident, American college students are creating masks for the hearing impaired and hearing impaired.

On the 1st of local time, foreign media, including CBS News, reported on a mask made by 21-year-old Ashley Lawrence of Versailles, Kentucky.

Lawrence, who is studying special education for hearing impaired people at Eastern Kentucky University, recently came up with an idea after watching a video of making masks on Facebook. You can make a mask for the hearing impaired and hand it out.

Lawrence and her mother were dexterous, creating extra bed sheets in the house and a mask that looked like a mouth made of transparent plastic.
Later, Mr. Lawrence released a mask on his SNS saying, "I'll give it to the people I need for free."

"All of us are panic because of the virus, so we don't realize that the mask causes problems for people with disabilities," Lawrence said.

In addition, he explained, "For the hearing impaired person who uses dictatorship to understand the story by seeing the movement of the lips, or uses language, the expression is a part of grammar."
Lawrence says so far, he has received dozens of orders from six US states. "I don't intend to make money by selling the mask," he said. "If you apply for a purchase overseas, you will pay the shipping fee, but the mask is free."
