04 April 2020 "The Lazio Region should swab the many homeless people who find refuge in the Tiburtina station area immediately to avoid the risk of outbreaks of coronavirus infection. Citizens must be protected". It is the request of the Mayor Virginia Raggi to the governor Nicola Zingaretti contained in a letter sent also to the minister Lamorgese, the prefect Pantalone and the head of the Civil Protection Borrelli.

According to what is learned in the letter, the mayor Raggi asks to urgently check with tampons "if these people are positive for Covid-19 and possibly organize the subsequent isolation, as required by the protocol of the Lazio Region which has agreed on some structures for the emergency coronavirus ". These checks, moreover, underlines the first citizen, "would avoid possible deplorable phenomena of racism". The operators of Roma Capitale - it is underlined - "equipped with safety devices, have been offering assistance to these people for weeks, giving them meals and sustenance". Precisely "to protect the operators and citizens of Rome" the Mayor Raggi highlighted the need "for an intervention by the Lazio Region to prevent any contagions".

Rays extends ordinances, closed beaches and parks
The mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi, in implementation of the latest Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers for the extension of the measures to contain the health emergency, renewed until April 13 the effectiveness of the ordinances for the fight against the spread of Coronavirus: The limited traffic areas of Trastevere, Trident and Old Town remain open 24 hours a day, payment of the parking fee throughout the Capitoline area is suspended, social centers for the elderly are closed and the ban on access to the beaches of the capital of Rome remains in force , from the pine forest of Castel Fusano and Acqua Rossa. As for public transport, the companies ATAC and Roma Tpl will maintain adequate service levels on the surface lines that allow connections with the health and hospital structures and with the production companies in service. Furthermore, until 13 April 2020, parks, villas and play areas are also closed to the public, following the decisions adopted with the Dpcm of 1 April 2020.

The parking fee will be free of charge throughout the Capitoline territory. The suspension of the payment of the "blue stripes" - explains the Capitol - is foreseen for all the parking spaces of the city territory, both of the exchange parking lots (which will maintain the relative protection), and of the areas subject to the pricing of parking on the road.

In addition to the closure of the elderly centers, the suspension of group activities is also arranged in the residential, semi-residential, social-welfare and recreational-recreational centers managed by Roma Capitale, in agreement and private, including Alzheimer Centers, day centers, laboratories intended for elderly people, disabled people and minors, playrooms and youth centers.

Outside of the ordinances, the suspension of the night service of the Tpl network remains in effect until April 13 with the last metro, bus and tram ride at 9 pm and summer transport reduction (all details are available on the website https: // www.atac.roma.it), as well as the provision relating to the possibility for healthcare professionals, and in particular for employees of Covid Hospitals, to use 100 cars of municipal car sharing free of charge.

Again with regard to public transport, the ATAC and Roma Tpl companies will maintain adequate service levels on the surface lines that allow connections with the health and hospital structures and with the production companies in service. In compliance with the Lazio Region Ordinance, in addition, the essential minimum services will be guaranteed by privileging the integration between the various methods, favoring the one with the least possibility of contact between people and choosing, among multiple solutions to guarantee sufficient transport services, the one that allows the greatest surface available for travelers and in any case at least one meter between passengers.
