“April 4 at 13:22 the State Emergency Situations received information that in the Zone of Exclusion and unconditional (mandatory) resettlement near the village. Vladimirovka Kotovskoye lesnichestvo mounted a wild forest fire on an area of ​​20 hectares, ”the statement said.

It is noted that two aircraft AN-32P GosChS took off to extinguish the fire. Later, a helicopter of the State Emergencies Ministry MI-8 flew to the ignition site.

In total, more than 90 firefighters and 18 units of equipment were involved in putting out the fire, of which 40 personnel and 8 units of equipment were from the State Emergencies Ministry.

Earlier it was reported that the Chernobyl zone was quarantined.
