For the first time, the number of people recovering from corona disease in Austria exceeded the number of new infections within 24 hours.
The Austrian Ministry of Health confirmed to the German News Agency (dpa) that the total number of confirmed infections with the newly created Corona virus in the country reached 11,525 cases by Saturday morning, an increase of 354 cases compared to Friday.
The number of people recovering from Covid-19 disease by 9:30 this morning was 2507 people, an increase of 485 people compared to yesterday.
Thus, the positive trend in the fight against the virus is confirmed in Austria, where the rates of increase in daily infection have witnessed a significant decrease during the past days and have recently stabilized below 5%.
Health Minister Rudolf Anchor warned against rushing in cheering, saying: "We have not reached our goals yet, but we note that we can reach them - if everyone continues to hold together and participate."
