04 April 2020 809 people have died with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Spain . The overall balance since the beginning of the emergency confirmed by the Madrid Ministry of Health and relaunched by the local media speaks of 11,744 deaths. The cases confirmed in the country are 124,736, with 7,026 diagnosed in the last 24 hours, compared to the 119,827 cases confirmed yesterday by Italy.

In France yesterday the record number of 588 new coronavirus deaths was recorded, bringing the total to exceed 6,500 deaths. Health Director General Jerome Salomon announced this. The hospitalized patients are 27,432 of which 6,662 in resuscitation.

Germany may not have enough hospital beds and ventilators to deal with its coronavirus outbreak. This is the warning from Lothar Wieler, head of the Robert Koch Institute, the country's disease control agency. "I am very happy that the ventilation beds and intensive care facilities have been increased," he told reporters.

"However, I cannot be sure that these skills are sufficient. Personally, I have the opinion that they will not be enough and I would be happy if I was wrong," added Wieler. "The more fans and ICU beds we have, the more lives we will be able to save and therefore I ask to continue increasing capacity as much as possible," he said.

In Austria, the growth of new infections from Covid-19 is stable. According to yesterday's data, 11,348 people contracted the virus, just over 400 more than the previous day. A trend that seems to slow down in a nation that has implemented strong restrictions since the beginning. There are 168 deaths, 829 people are hospitalized (almost two hundred fewer than yesterday) and 245 of them are in intensive care. Deputy Chancellor Werner Kogler (Verdi) spoke for the first time of a "slow recovery of the economy" and that "the restart programs will be announced next week".

Belgium yesterday recorded 1,422 new cases of Coronavirus that bring the country's total to 16,770 positive since the outbreak. The overall death toll rose to 1,143, after 132 deaths in the past 24 hours. The spokesmen of the Ministry of Health announced this in the daily press conference on the situation of the epidemic.

"Day after day we see the number of infections stabilizing," said one of the spokesmen, Emmanuel Andre. The number of patients in the hospital is increasing, with 578 hospitalizations yesterday for a total of 5,552. However, ICU capabilities in the country remain broadly stable. Currently 1,205 intensive care places are occupied (+61 yesterday), but there are still 1,055 beds available, for an occupancy rate of 55%. Yesterday 377 patients were discharged, bringing the total to 2,872.
