In the United Kingdom, a 5-year-old child died from coronavirus. According to a press release from the public health service, patients who are young or have no previous health problems may die from the disease.

On Saturday in the UK, a 5-year-old child died after contracting the coronavirus. The country recorded more than 708 additional deaths in 24 hours that same day, a new record bringing the total of deaths to 4,313, the public health service said.

Among these deaths recorded in hospitals, the range of ages ranges from 5 to 104 years, the NHS said in a press release. Forty of the 708 dead (ages 48 to 93) had no other known health problems.
