Coronavirus Infectious Disease-19 (Corona19) Japan is urgently trying to prevent the collapse of the medical system due to a surge in patients.

According to a report by the Yomiuri Shimbun today (4th), Tokyo aims to secure 4,000 beds in preparation for the increase in corona19 patients, but it has not yet secured 750.

704 of 750 are in use by inpatients as of 3rd.

No other local government has secured enough beds.

Kanagawa Prefecture targeted 2,800, but only secured 170, Osaka Prefecture and Hyogo Prefecture targeted 3,000 and 500 respectively, but 600 and 246.

Eventually, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare notified local governments on the 3rd of the day to guide them to classify and respond to the condition of the definite.

Currently, all of the confirmed patients are admitted in principle, but in the future, the policy is to induce minor patients and others to recover their health outside of the hospital.

Those with mild or asymptomatic diagnoses, except for the elderly, patients with heart and respiratory disease or diabetes, and pregnant women, have decided that their doctors do not need hospitalization, and plan to accept them outside of medical institutions such as homes and accommodations.
