The latest figures indicate that the Coruna virus infected 1.1 million around the world and resulted in the death of sixty thousand and 35 people, which is equivalent to 5.4% of all infections, and on the positive side, the virus has recovered 228 thousand and 598 people, or 20.5% of the infected.

All over the world, government data on new injuries and deaths are taking place, and countries continue to enforce strict health and security measures in an effort to contain the deadly virus that first appeared in Wuhan, China, last December.

Europe is the region hardest hit by the virus, as more than 44,000 people have died from the continent, accounting for more than two-thirds of the virus's deaths worldwide.

Italy remains the country most affected by the virus in terms of deaths, with the largest number of deaths in the world (14,681), followed by Spain (11744).

In the third place came the United States in terms of the number of deaths, where it recorded 7159 deaths, including 1500 in the last 24 hours, but it is progressing the countries of the world in terms of the number of injuries, exceeding 276 thousand.

France ranks fourth in the number of deaths, with 6,507 deaths so far.

Britain is advancing

According to official figures, Britain is ranked fifth in the world in the number of deaths resulting from corona as Iran exceeded by a large difference, and in Saudi Arabia, the authorities isolated seven neighborhoods in the city of Jeddah, which overlooks the Red Sea, and Egypt announced its intention to implement a new measure regarding the next Ramadan.

In one day, the UK recorded 708 new deaths from the Coruna virus, in a new record that confirms an acceleration of the epidemic that has killed 4313 people in the country, health authorities said Saturday.

This number represents a record number of deaths for the fifth consecutive day, as Friday recorded 684 deaths, Thursday 569, Wednesday 563 and Tuesday 381.

In total, the authorities in Britain counted 41,903 injuries in the country, including 3,735 injuries during the last 24 hours.

In Iran, Ministry of Health spokesperson Kyanosh Jahanpur said that the total deaths of the Coronavirus have increased to 3452 today, after 158 people died of the disease during the past 24 hours.

He added to state television that the total number of injuries was 55,743, of which 4,103 were critical cases. Iran remains the country worst hit by the virus in the Middle East.

No entry .. no exit

For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Interior said in a statement today that the authorities announced measures to isolate and ban a partial curfew in seven neighborhoods in the Red Sea city of Jeddah, as part of measures to contain the spread of the new Corona virus.

The ministry added that the residents of the aforementioned neighborhoods will be allowed to leave their homes for the necessary needs, such as health care and catering, within the isolation zone during the period from six in the morning until three in the afternoon.

The statement indicated that entry and exit from these neighborhoods will be prevented.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 140 new injuries, bringing the total number of injuries to 2099, 29 deaths, and the number of people recovering 420.

Preemptive action
In a related context, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments announced that it will not allow the establishment of collective breakfast tables in the coming Ramadan, against the backdrop of the spread of Corona virus in the country.

In the statement, the ministry called on the authorities that were holding breakfast tables during the month of Ramadan to take the initiative to take that out of cash or food commodities for the poor and needy before entering the blessed month.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced that Corona's injuries in the country had risen to 985, including 66 deaths.

The authorities have taken several precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, including the suspension of studies, Friday prayers and congregational prayers in mosques, and the imposition of a partial curfew throughout the country.

Cairo University announced the opening of an investigation into the infections of the Corona virus to the medical staff of the National Institute of Oncology. And she was dr. Reem Imad, director of the university's institute, confirmed the detection of 15 cases of the virus among doctors and nurses. The injuries are attributed to three doctors and 12 nurses.

On the other hand, the UAE Ministry of Health said that it recorded 241 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected to 1505.

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health recorded the first death from the Corona virus, and 62 new infections, bringing the number of infections to 479.

Omani Health recorded 25 new cases of the virus, bringing the number of infections to 277.

In the Kingdom of Morocco, 53 new infections were recorded, bringing the total to 844.

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced 12 injuries, bringing the total to 520, including 17 deaths.

In Palestine, 11 new injuries were recorded, all of them returning to and from Israeli workers, bringing the total number to 205.

In Israel, 161 new infections were recorded, taking the total to more than 7,589.

In Malaysia, 4 new deaths and 150 injuries were recorded, bringing the total to 3,500.

In China, where the epidemic first appeared last December, the authorities set up a national mourning for the deceased with the new Corona virus.

At ten in the morning local time (the second after midnight GMT) the mourning was held for the deceased, by standing three minutes silently, including medical personnel.

Sirens sounded across the country, and car, train and boat drivers sounded trumpets out of respect for the deceased, and flags were flagged across the country.
