The government has decided on a number of crisis measures to help companies affected by the corona pandemic. One of these measures is that companies can be delayed in paying taxes.

Since then, the applications to the Swedish Tax Agency have not waited.

- During the financial crisis of 2008, we made about 17,000 decisions in total, now there will be more, says Eva Bodén, business developer at the Swedish Tax Agency.

Incorrect forms

To date, the authority has taken decisions in around 6,000 cases.

- The law started to apply on Monday and it was only then that we could start handling the cases, we have had around 350 attorneys who have worked with this this week, says Eva Bodén.

Until Friday, the Swedish Tax Agency had received around 12,000 applications, but in almost half of the cases incorrect forms were used according to Eva Bodén.
