The Israeli occupation forces arrested the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Palestinian government, Fadi Al-Hadmi, after he stormed his house located in the Al-Sawanah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem Friday morning and destroyed its external and internal doors.

Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on the Israeli occupation authorities to immediately release the minister who was taken to an investigation center in Jerusalem.

The Anadolu News Agency quoted the director of the Hadami office as saying that large Israeli police and intelligence forces surrounded the minister’s house and raided him using dogs even inside the house and wreaked havoc on it, confiscating an amount of ten thousand shekels before brutal arrest.

The director of the office pointed out that the occupation forces did not disclose the reason for this attack and arrest.

An official in the Palestinian minister’s office suggested to Anatolia that the arrest was related to an attempt to help the Palestinians in Jerusalem prevent the spread of the Corona virus in the occupied city.

It should be mentioned that Minister Al-Hudmi was arrested several times during the last months, against the background of organizing cultural and social activities in the city of Jerusalem.
